At Misfits, we know the ache of reaching out for support and not feeling understood. Too many of us have been met with misunderstanding, dismissal, or harm when what we needed was care, kindness, and connection. That’s why Misfits exists: as both a refuge and a space where your full, messy, brilliant self is honoured. Our approach is rooted in softness, real belonging, and a commitment to co-creating safety. Whether you’re untangling identity, navigating your career or leadership, fighting an invisible battle, or simply longing to feel seen, we’re here to walk beside you.

Hey there!

I’ve been a misfit my whole life, and a certified coach for over 10 years, with more than 500 hours of coaching experience. As someone who’s queer, neurodiverse and transgender, I deeply understand what it’s like to navigate a world that wasn’t designed for people like us.

My coaching is all about creating a safe, compassionate space where you can show up fully as yourself. Together, we’ll uncover what’s holding you back, explore what truly drives you, and design a plan that aligns with your unique values and vision.

Fun Facts: I’m a proud dog dad to a giant poodle and a tiny chihuahua and I love spaghetti and meat sauce with my whole heart! I’m the founder of misfits!

Hola!

I help people make meaningful change without wasting time, energy, or trying to fit into systems that don’t work for them. My coaching is practical, intuitive, and tailored to you. Each session is designed to leave you feeling more inspired, more confident, and ready to take action, without sacrificing your integrity, identity, or emotional truth.

I’ve worked with people across sectors and identities, leaders, artists, organizers, and seekers, and one thing’s clear: there’s no one-size-fits-all formula. I adapt my approach to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll get to the heart of what matters to you, and build forward from that place.

你好!

I bring authenticity, curiosity, and creativity to my coaching practice. I especially enjoy working with individuals to support their career development and personal growth on topics such as negotiation, public speaking, effective feedback, setting boundaries, setting priorities as a parent. Since completing the Professional and Personal Coaching Certification at Concordia University (Montreal, Quebec) in 2018, I feed my hunger to learn through formal avenues such as serving as a mentor to students at Concordia’s ICF-recognized coaching programs in 2019 and 2024.

Imagine being coached within the eye of a storm. Despite the outside pressure and chaos, you are accompanied in this calm and safe space, co-created with me, to clarify and navigate through personal changes and new realizations. I offer this imagery to capture what a coaching partnership together feels and looks like. In a coaching relationship, I hold the space with full presence to listen wholeheartedly to what is said and unsaid (body language, hesitation, voice), to see the client as the person they truly are. I use powerful questions, imageries, and reflections to guide, at times gently reframe and even challenge stories that clients keep telling themselves, but act as barriers preventing them from moving forward in their personal journey.

Fun facts: I speak Cantonese, English, French and Mandarin (some) and am improving my butterfly stroke.

Hello!

I bring deep empathy, curiosity, and lived experience to my work. With over a decade in mental health and community care, including clinics, crisis lines, hospitals, and private practice, I specialize in supporting folks navigating anxiety, neurodivergence (especially ADHD), identity exploration, grief, and life transitions. My approach is compassionate, grounded, and creatively attuned to the complexity of being a human.

I’m currently completing my PhD on mental health and the climate crisis, and I also teach at York University’s School of Social Work. I bring humour, warmth, and a fierce belief in your capacity to grow, heal, and thrive. My practice is rooted in trauma-informed, collaborative care that honours your pace, priorities, and full self, no masking required.

Fun Facts: Outside of work, I’m a proud dog mom to a miniature dachshund and live for CrossFit, iced coffee, and an excellent pen!

Hi!

Throughout the years, I’ve stayed true to my passion for creating spaces where people can get raw and real about their truth. I’m no stranger to adversity, and I use my own story as a way to help others rediscover the light that may have dimmed along the way.

One of my favourite quotes is: “Anything you are not changing, you are choosing.” Life throws grenades and curveballs at all of us, and I believe the weight of those obstacles depends on how we choose to perceive and evolve through them.

For the moments that leave you feeling overwhelmed or discouraged, I love sharing creative tips and tricks that can help you pick up the pieces, sort your ish out, and reclaim your oomph!

Hi!

I’m a trauma-informed coach and bring deep empathy, lived experience, and global perspective to my work. As a survivor of childhood trauma, I spent years navigating the complexity of healing in systems that didn’t always see or support me.

Coaching changed everything for me. With the right support, I was able to begin transforming pain into purpose, and now, I offer that same grounded, inclusive care to others. My approach is holistic, rooted in modalities like mindfulness, NLP, solution-focused coaching, and trauma-informed support.

My work is anchored in one core belief: healing happens when we are truly seen, heard, and held by someone who gets it.

Fun Fact: My path to recovery led me across 30+ countries, searching for answers, connection, and ultimately, myself.
